About
La Ronda de Boltaña es un grupo mítico de música tradicional aragonesa nacido en 1992 en Boltaña (Huesca), cuando un grupo de amigos decidió recuperar la antigua costumbre de la ronda en las fiestas del pueblo. A partir de 1994 comenzaron a actuar por los pueblos del Sobrarbe, y fue entonces cuando recibieron el nombre que los identifica hoy. Utilizan instrumentos tradicionales del Pirineo y de Aragón, como la gaita de boto, la trompa, el chuflo, el salterio, el guitarro, el laúd o el acordeón, combinando jotas, mazurkas, polkas y pasodobles.
